Background
Kevin is a specialist, Legal 500 leading junior, family law barrister with rounded knowledge of complex public law (infant death, sexual abuse, non-accidental injuries) and private family law (parental alienation, coercive controlling behaviour and high-conflict cases).
With over 13 years’ experience working with leading Local Authorities, Kevin brings a socio-legal understanding that is not commonly found at the Family Bar. Hard-working and dedicated to clients, he is a rigorous advocate who leaves no stone unturned in the quest for truth and justice.
He began his career as a probation and aftercare officer in Jamaica, developing skills in engaging families and pursuing fair solutions. He is frequently instructed for mentally unwell and vulnerable clients, bringing a calm and reassuring approach. Trained in systemic therapy, Kevin adopts a solution-focused style with clients and professionals alike.
Before coming to the Bar, Kevin danced professionally as a contemporary ballet dancer for six years and has been lead choreographer and dancer for the annual Miscellany Production at Gray’s Inn—stage presence he puts to effective use in court.
